The Framework
The August Training Accelerator

8 hours of interactive, highly encouraging logical training compressed into 4 weeks. Completely free for beginner middle and high school girls across Canada.

Each week builds naturally on the last — by Week 4, you'll be ready to compete with confidence.

Weeks 1 & 2
From Zero to Your First Program
Week 1 — Python Basics

Learn how to code in Python! Master inputs, simple math variables, and print fun custom messages on the screen. Your very first lines of code start here.

Week 2 — Python Mastery

Learn how code makes choices. Conquer automated loops, if/else paths, and sorting digital lists. Logic becomes your superpower.

Weeks 3 & 4
Entering the Arena & Crossing the Finish Line
Week 3 — Entering the Arena

Move onto a real online coding platform. Learn how to read competition word problems carefully and submit code to pass automated challenges — just like real competitive programmers do.

Week 4 — The J2 Victory

Put it all together! Learn advanced variable tricks, and master the strategies you'll need for the final contest. This is where everything clicks.

The Finale
The National Stage

To celebrate everything you learn in August, Informatix Girls hosts a friendly, nationwide, girls-only beginner informatics contest. Hosted online, this event features strict eligibility rules to keep advanced programmers out — meaning you'll only compete against fellow beginners in a completely safe, supportive environment.

The August Bootcamp is open to girls in Grades 7–11 across Canada with no prior coding experience required. If you're curious and willing to try, you're ready.
